MENTAL HEALTH & HTMA - Comprehensive 2 Day Practitioner Seminar
The seminar will be held over 2 days.
SAT: HTMA Introductory Course - 12.30 (registration) to 5.15pm
SUN: HTMA Advanced Course - 9am (registration) to 5.15pm
The seminar program will include:
SAT: Introduction to utilising HTMA in Clinical Practice, Importance of mineral ratios, Mineral relationships (synergisitc & antagonistic), Metabolic typing, Endocrine relationships, Nutrient & toxic mineral ratios, Vitamin & mineral relationships, Heavy metals & chelation, HTMA sampling, procedures and laboratory overview, HTMA report interpretation, HTMA case studies with practical applications in practice.
SUN: Minerals & mental health, The role of nutritional elements in the nervous system, Implications of nutrient imbalances and effects of toxic minerals on the nervous system, Minerals & the neuro-endocrine system, Mood disorders and endocrine imbalances - thyroid/adrenal connection, Effects of hormones on mood, Women's health - hormaonal imbalances, depression, anxiety, HTMA case studies and mental health disorders, Nutritional support for mood disorders.
HTMA is a powerful analytical technique regularly used in naturopathy and nutritional medicine today. Used correctly it can provide a wealth of clinical information for the practitioner. Minerals are the foundation for developing treatment strategies to restore nutritional balance in your patients, support endocrine needs and aid in the chelation and detoxification process.
Practitioners’ individual needs will be catered for in the seminar program, which will cover fundamental through to advanced techniques in interpretation of HTMA.
